Meet Kayla Kaipolani!

We are thrilled to welcome to the newest addition to the dream team here at Picture Motion, Kayla Kaipolani.

She joins Picture Motion as our new Administrative Coordinator. Kayla will be supporting our CEO in company operations and schedule management, as well as supporting impact campaign research.

Here’s why she’s an asset to our team:

Kayla Kaipolani is from a small town on the North Shore of O’ahu, Hawai’i. She graduated from New York University where she studied Film & TV with a focus in Documentary and minored in Social Work. While at NYU, Kayla directed a couple short documentaries in Havana, Cuba including, YISSY: A Woman’s Beat in Cuban Music that screened at the Fundacion de Ludwig and was a finalist in the New Visions and Voices Film Festival.

She has worked in documentary film production with Pentimento Productions, film publicity with Cinetic Media, and art direction with the T.V. show Elementary on CBS. She is also a freelance production designer for short films and music videos. Kayla believes that film is a powerful tool and she aims to address social issues and work to protect human rights through film here at Picture Motion.
